Kids Nautical Party

Sail away with me….Lucas turns three!   Fun kids nautical party in Kew, Victoria.

nautical party dessert table

I was delighted to work with Cat, Lucas’s Mum, on his 3rd Birthday Nautical Party.  I just love the bright blue and red that comes with a nautical theme….and stripes are just divine!!!!

The dessert table was a sourced from a combination of places.  The yummy fruit tarts and vanilla slice were from Cat’s favourite café on Kew High Street.  The home-made macadamia and white chocolate balls were made by Lucas’s Nanna (a family favourite!!) and the delicious peanut butter sea corals were made by Cat.  They were so delicious that the adults were eating most of them!   The gorgeous cookies were made by Sue from Badger Creek Cookies & Cakes and the cake was made by the birthday boy’s talented Mum with a lighthouse prop to sit on the top!!!  [Heaps of areas to save a bit of money if you are willing to give it a go!!]

Stationery was hand made by a talented friend of mine, Dwann whilst we hand wrote on our cards with white ink to add to our nautical effect.  It’s nice to have hand written stationery instead of printed all of the time.  I love mixing textures, prints and colours in my parties.

The kiddies table and drinks station were located in the mezzanine area of the home offering water and apple & pomegranate juice.  A special sailors seating area was also located here to provide a separate area for kiddies to have fun in!

Lucas had a little tiny tots table for 10 which was so much fun!!!  Each little sailor had a little red and white take away bag filled with yummy cookies and special sailor treats.   These chairs are too cute and easy for little ones to use.
