Orange & Blue Party

This orange and blue party was created for a very special little Ethan’s first birthday party.  Navy polka dots, orange stripes and baby blue diamonds – perfect shapes and colours for a very special little guys first birthday!!!

orange and blue first birthday party

Little Ethan had the makings of a fabulous first birthday party from the onset…… with an Executive Chef for a Daddy and an Event Manager Mummy, you really cannot go wrong!  This coupled with Tiny Tots Events made for a memorable and enjoyable party for all.

Ethan’s Mummy, Alison found the gorgeous pintables from Oodles & Doodles on Etsy which formed the way for our brilliant pattern and colour scheme.  Orange, two tones of blue and the charcoal really worked well together.

Ethan’s party was held at Mummy & Daddy’s venue, B4 Food & Wine Bar.  B4 was a fantastic venue as it allowed for plenty of space for the 60 guests and 10 kiddies to roam around freely.   There was ample space to allow for our dessert table, scattered seating, a fabulous kiddie’s corner and a lovely relaxation area complete with sofas.

The venue was decorated with orange and blue balloons, tassel’s and ribbons.

B4 catered for the party and spoilt all the guests with a delicious lunch consisting of roaming starters and a few hot dishes and salad for main.

For the dessert table we opted for a simple blackboard backdrop with bunting to compliment the invitations and stationery.  A charcoal tablecloth once again complimented the stationery and really allowed for the pops of blue and orange to shine.

The fantastic cake was made by Muddings Bakery in Glen Waverley and took center stage on the table.  Rustic individual cakes were topped with the pintables from Oodles & Doodles.  And we had our patterns and colours recreated in cookies by Sue at Badger Creek Cookies & Cakes.  Macarons by The Tea Party Co were delicious, especially the candy floss flavour!!!  Yum yum.  Other favourites on the day were the orange chocolate mousse and the lemon curd with raspberries – which talented Mum, Alison had made.

Alison put a kiddie’s corner together which was a massive hit!  This really made for lots of fun and enjoyment for little toddlers.  Ethan also had special little thank you bags and waters for his mates to enjoy in this zone.

This orange and blue party was great to work on for gorgeous little Ethan Michael.  If you love this theme or any ideas from the party feel free to contact us to assist you with your little one’s party!
